Welcome to Teacher’s Pet!

I’m Daniel, a school teacher turned shrimp enthusiast! As an educator, I've spent years supporting young minds in the classroom, but my fascination of aquariums and all things shrimp led me here—breeding high-quality shrimp.

At Teacher’s Pet, my goal is to share the fascinating world of shrimp with fellow hobbyists and newcomers alike. The world is a complicated place, but keeping shrimp brings me interest and peace and I hope to share with you. 

I try to balance high quality and affordability. I cull heavily and when I import, I try to only get shrimp with breeders and farmers that I've grown to trust. That being said, I want others to be able to access my hobby, so I try to keep prices affordable so that you can have some of these lil guys in your tanks too.
