Black Boa Caridina Shrimp

The Boa Caridina Shrimp (Caridina cantonensis) is a striking pinto pattern shrimp, instantly recognizable by its signature cape pattern across the back and cheek spots. In high-quality specimens, the cape extends down the sides, creating a flowing, bold look that makes these shrimp stand out in any collection. These are mid grade boas, you are guaranteed to get a cape that runs down the full back with some cheek spots. For high grade metallics, please reach out to me.

These shrimp come from a high-grade blue metallic boa colony, and as they mature, you may notice hints of metallic blue shimmering through their patterns. The blue is not guaranteed in the shrimp you get as it is not always distinct in juveniles. They also produce a variety of offspring: “culls” may include Blue Steel and Black (Galaxy) Fishbone Pintos, adding even more diversity and interest for breeders.
